My name is Johanna and I have a great passion for wool and crafts.
I have been knitting and crocheting for a long time and have hoped to be able to share my hobby with others.
In 2021 I took the first step and founded Yarn Me Up, from which my Website and Ravelry shop developed. There I offer unique knitting pattern designs, made by me.

I hope I can give you some inspiration!
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
I am 32 years old and grew up in Erlangen, a town in Bavaria. I have a degree in Education & Sociology, but never really got into it.
That's why I immediately added a 3 year apprenticeship as a hair and make-up artist to my studies, for which I moved to Berlin. Even though I've tried a lot of things in life, my love for crafts and especially for knitting has always stayed with me!

In 2021 I decided to expand my passion for knitting in addition to my job as a hair and make-up artist.
I currently live with my husband, our son and cat back in Bavaria, where we live in the countryside.

I hope to give you a glimpse into my workspace and creative process on my blog, and to share some of my crafting knowledge, tips, and tricks with you. Maybe there’s something you can take with you into your own creative world! I’ve also got a little shop on my site where I share my own knitting patterns and designs - feel free to check it out!
