Elise is worked seamlessly from the top down, beginning with the back panel. The shoulders are shaped using German Short Rows with double stitches for a refined fit. The front panels are then worked separately to create the deep V-neckline, framed by a delicate dropped-stitch pattern.
At the underarms, all pieces are joined and the body is worked in the round. The transition into the softly flared lower body is shaped gradually and finished with a round of wrapped dropped stitches and an I-cord bind-off.
The sleeves are worked in the round from picked-up stitches around the armholes and finished with the same delicate dropped-stitch detail and I-cord bind-off for a cohesive, polished finish.
