Crocheting two panels together
This seam method joins two knit edges vertically. It creates a visible seam that can be intentionally used as a decorative detail.
Lay both panels side by side so their inner edges align, with right side facing up.
Begin by making a slip knot on your crochet hook. The working yarn should lie beneath the panels and come up from underneath.

Insert your hook into one leg of the first outermost st (going from RS to WS), ...

... then into the corresponding st on the other panel—your hook is now through both layers.

Grab your working yarn from underneath ...

... and pull it through both panels. You have made a slip stitch.

Skip the next edge st of the panels, and repeat the process with the stitch after that: insert into one leg of the outermost stitch on first panel, ...

... and on the other.

Grab the working yarn and ...

... pull the yarn through both layers, and then pull it through the loop on the hook (completing the slip stitch).

Continue in this way, aiming for even tension across the seam. When you reach the end of the panels, cut the working yarn and pull it through the loop on the hook to finish.
