Adding the ring detail
A ring is always first placed in Row 3 (for Cable 2) or Row 9 (for Cable 1).
Work until you reach row 3 | row 9 of the Cable Chart.
K4 of the cable, ...
... sl the last 2 sts back on the left hand needle and place the ring around these 2 sts to secure it.
Sl the 2 sts back on the right hand needle, the ring is now hanging around those 2 sts.
Continue to until you reach row 7 | row 1, leaving the ring hanging.
K the first 2 sts of the cable, fold the ring up ...
... and k the next 2 sts through the ring to secure it.
Continue in cable st pattern.
