To recreate the sample exactly as shown, you will need:
- Mermaid Tears by PRU Yarns (colour Black), 100 g – 400 m / 437 yards:
1 skein for both sizes - Soft Silk Mohair by Knitting for Olive (colour Licorice), 25 g – 225 m / 246 yards:
1 skein for both sizes
Please note:
- You will not need even half of the listed amounts to make the hair ties.
- Holding two strands together is only a suggestion – this pattern can also be worked with a single strand, as long as gauge is met.
- This project is especially suitable for effect yarns. The sample yarn by PRU Yarns already includes embedded beads; alternatively, beads can be sewn onto the finished piece afterward.
